We all know how this pandemic has affected our businesses. Staying at home has become the new norm. Starting to get a feel of the pajama life? Are you prepared? Is your workspace conducive for work? Here are some tips to get help you get started:

Choose a suitable location

Natural light is the best source of luminance. Choose a place near a window, or somewhere where natural light naturally hits. Studies have shown that Natural light helps to prevent headaches, blurry vision, and eye strain.

Noise Reduction

Noisy neighbours? Pets? Babies? Well, one thing is for sure - we can't get away from them. But here is one, your phone. That "Silent" button can be one thing you can surely control. Press snooze on those alerts, messages, and inconvenient ads.

Schedule Schedule Schedule

You might be saying, "Well, I've heard of that before" or "Anything else?", but do you actually follow the schedule you have? You might be surprised at how many plans you have been putting off. Plan wisely. Grab your calendar and see an overview of the year. Plot out the most important tasks for the entire year, and backtrack. Go back to the month you are in, plot out more tasks and plans. Then, plan your day, check the "essential" and "non-essential" tasks for the day. Go back, and see your calendar, amaze yourself. Lastly, don't forget to follow it!

One more thing, it is always important to experiment and have fun! Decorate your space with your favorite things, hang some paintings or pictures, and maybe even paint your room (if you have the time). Create the space you want, work how you want.
